The Centre for Comparative Religions and Civilizations at Central University of Jammu organised a one-day national conference on the theme “Global Peace Order Through Indian Thoughts”. Presiding over the inaugural session, Vice Chancellor of Central University of Jammu, Prof. Sanjeev Jain, said that with the help of new technologies, we can bring world peace. Chief Guest of the conference and Ex-Vice Chancellor of Choudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, Prof. N.K.Taneja emphasised the teaching of Vedanta Philosophy for global peace and order. Guest of Honour and keynote speaker Shri. Laxman ji has put emphasis on practical aspects for making global peace. Welcoming all dignitaries, Director of CCRC Prof. Niranjna Bhandari said that the outcomes of the conference will surely be fruitful for the peace in India and the world. A vote of thanks was presented by Registrar of Central University of Jammu, Prof.Yashwant Singh. The inaugural session was well-convened by Dr Ajay Kumar Singh.
