Under the dynamic leadership of Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu, an orientation programme for the newly joined students was organized by the Centre of Comparative Religion and Civilizations (CCRC) of Central University of Jammu.Students of MA, research scholars and faculty members participated in the orientation programme. Faculty members discussed the importance of the study of Comparative Religion for the better society and new India. They said that, religion helps in building human beings and it is the need of the hour. They also discussed various career opportunities for the students. Director of CCRC Prof. Niranjna Bhandari said that, students have ample opportunities to enrich themselves with new ideas. They can explore their hidden potentiality and can do better for themselves, their families, society and ultimately for the nation. Faculty members Prof. Niranjna Bhandari, Dr. Arvind Rituraj, Dr. Vikas Singh, Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh, Dr. Ashwani Kumar, Dr. GV Snigdha Raj, research fellows Dr. Narendra Bharti, Prabhakar, research scholars Naresh, Arpit, Rohit, students of MA Aman, Aditi, Ashtha, Himanshi, Ojsvie, Renu, Sonia, Anjli,Sourav and many more participated in the orientation programme.
