Prof. S. Dash Chairperson, Centre for Marketing in Emerging Economies, IIM, Noida delivered a session in National Workshop on Research Methodology for Ph.D students in Social Sciences at School of Business Studies, Central University of Jammu. Prof. S. Dash enlightened the students by emphasizing the importance of doing original & quality research. He further emphasized the common errors committed by the researchers to enhance the authenticity of the research work. Prof. S. Dash IIM- Noida offered various research projects in collaboration with Central University of Jammu. Prof S. Dash is a well known academician and prolific writer and has co-authored various books with Prof. Naresh Malhotra.

Prof R.L. Raina, Vice Chancellor, JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur cited various issues from his career as a researcher, he urged the researchers who have come from various parts of the country as participants to use this opportunity for sharpening their research acumen. Prof Raina an eminent academician has been associated with Central University of Jammu since its inception. Prof. Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, CUJ encouraged the young researchers to work with complete dedication and honesty. He emphasized that the University has been organizing various workshops for imparting practical knowledge about Research Methodology.

Prof Dash, Prof. R.L. Raina and Adjunct Professor Dr. M. Naved Khan, School of Business Studies enlightened the students from Department of HRM & OB and TTM on various aspects of research. Earlier, welcoming the august gathering Dr. Jaya Bhasin, Head, Department of HRM & OB and Department of Tourism and Travel Management (TTM) extended her gratitude to the eminent guests Prof. S. Dash, Prof R.L. Raina and Dr. M. Naved Khan.
The faculty members present for the sessions were Dr. Shahid Mushtaq, Course Director of the workshop, Mr. Manjeet Singh, Dr. Naresh Sharma, Mr. Ravinder Singh and Mr. Varun Abrol. This ten day workshop was started on 10th April 2017 has covered various aspects of Research Methodology and has also provided the students with a hands-on experience.
