The Department of Educational Studies, Central University of Jammu which is being headed by Prof. Lokesh Kumar Verma organised an extensive lecture at its newly established main campus at Raya-Suchani (Bagla), Samba.

Dr. Khushvinder Kumar, Principal, M.M. Modi College, Patiala was the speaker who delivered lecture on the topic ‘Mixed Methods Research’. Dr. Khushvinder in his lecture discussed how the Mixed Methods Research perspective emerged and the way it can be used for improvements and innovation in the field of research. He also threw light on the role of education discipline in the field of evaluation at various levels of education.

The lecture was followed by discussion and the speaker clarified the doubts of the audiences. Dr. Kiran, Assistant Professor, Department of Educational Studies formally welcomed the speaker. The function was graced by the faculty members-Dr Kiran, Dr. Parmod Kumar, Dr. J. N.Baliya and Dr. Aman, Research scholars and students of the department. Dr. J.N. Baliya, Assistant Professor, Department of Educational Studies presented formal vote of thanks. The entire session was anchored by Mr. Jawaid Ahmad Itoo, Research scholar, Department of Educational Studies.
