A two day workshop on “Android Application development” was inaugurated by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ashok Aima at Central University of Jammu here at Temporary Academic Block (TAB), Sainik Colony,  Jammu. The workshop is being organized by the Department of Computer Science & IT, Central University of Jammu. The workshop is conducted by Mr. Sudhir Mor,  CEO & Founder, Sai Biz, Pvt. Ltd., N Delhi. This workshop is aimed to enable students to understand and develop Android Applications.

Prof. Ashok Aima, in his presidential address, appreciated the efforts put in by the Department and motivated the students to focus on skill development to get good jobs in the industry.

Prof. Devanand, Dean, School of Basic & App. Sciences & Head of Computer Science & IT, welcomed the guests and informed the gathering about the importance of android applications and its development. The Vice Chancellor also inaugurated the App of Central University of Jammu which is developed to provide information of the University required by people across the globe.

The formal vote of thanks was presented by Er. Arvind Selwel, Asst. Professor in the Department of CS & IT.
