Jammu( 15 August, 2015):  Flag hoisting ceremony was held at TAB and Bagla(Rahya-Suchani). The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ashok Aima addressed the Academic fraternity, Non Teaching member and students of the University.

The focus was laid on the accountability and responsibility of each individual which is much needed for the growth of the University. He quoted the words of Dr. Kalam where he said that  there is a need to salute the duty and not the individual and if we pollute our duty there is a need to salute everybody with these words a pledge was taken by each individual that we will be committed to our work and will be transparent in each activity we perform in the University which will contribute to growth of the University and ultimately to the growth of the nation. Registrar Sh. Jit Singh, Academic Coordinator Prof. Lokesh Verma, Deans, HOD, faculty members, non-teaching staff and students were present.
