About the Department
Registrations for Admission to B. Tech Programmes has started
Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (DoECE) was established under the mentorship of IIST-ISRO in year 2022. The department is offering two UG programmes (B.Tech.) in Electronics Communication Engineering (ECE), and ECE (Avionics). The Department is also offering Doctoral programs in ECE. The students also gain experience in carrying out experiments and take part in some of the research and development activities at different centers of ISRO, IIST, and related industry through their internship programmes. DoECE put all the efforts to make our students to compete internationally and to produce creative solutions to society’s needs, universal moral values, adherent to professional ethical code, and to generate any knowledge and technologies essential to the local and global needs in the field of ECE. The quality teaching and guidance by highly qualified and experienced faculty members will benefit the students to compete globally. The regular interaction between students and faculty helps students to apply the theoretical knowledge to real life situations. Moreover, the faculty members organize special sessions, workshops, technical events, and seminars to present innovative ideas of the students.
