CUJ to organise National Conference on Silk Route Tourism

Central University of Jammu is going to organise 3 day National Conference on “Silk Route Tourism: The Revival of Tributaries of Cultural and Archaeological Heritage” w.e. f. 4th -6th May 2017 at its Temporary Academic Block (TAB), Sainik Colony, Jammu.

The School of Business Studies, Central University of Jammu under the patron-ship of Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof Ashok Aima is organizing this 3 day conference which is being sponsored by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

This conference would provide an opportunity to formulate the roadmap for developing a comprehensive and sustainable tourism strategy for the Silk Route Heritage Corridors. Participation from academia, research fraternity, doctoral students and corporate has been received to gain experience and learn the nuances of research in emerging areas, especially in Indian Institutional Context. Contributions have been invited in the form of research papers on various aspects including Culture and Heritage tourism on Silk route Marketing and Promotion of the Silk route region as a common tourist destination.
