Central University of Jammu organised a thirty six hours (36 hrs.) industry linked workshop for the students of MBA Supply Chain Management. Mr Ashish Srivastava, the resource person from Safeducate shared real life industry issues with the students using various techniques like Simulation, Case Studies, Role plays. Mr Srivastava also elaborated on the challenges in the supply chain industry and had threadbare discussion on the relevant topics. Employability enabling skills required in the knowledge intensive supply chain industry were emphasised by citing the right mix of practical and theoretical intricacies.

Professor Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu applauded the efforts of Dr Gaurav Sehgal – Head Marketing and Supply Chain Management and other faculty members of the department for organising the industry linked workshop. Prof. Aima emphasised on the importance of such type of workshops to provide real life understanding of management issues and preparing them to contribute successfully in the business world. Dr Naresh Sharma, Dr Salil Seth and Dr Anju Thapa were the coordinators for the workshop.
