The Placement Cell of Central University of Jammu organized a three days’ Personality Development Workshop for the MBA students of Marketing and Supply Chain Management, HRM and OB and Tourism and Travel Management. Mr Manish Raj Sharma, Director and Chief Training Analyst of MRS Training Services, New Delhi himself conducted the sessions.. MRS Training Services is a training organisation which is into training and development of aspiring professionals on grammar to grooming; inter personnel skills and intra personal skills, personality development, business soft skills development, accent and pronunciation training.

During the workshop, the main emphasis of the resource person was on interpersonal and intrapersonal skills, proxemics and kinesics of communication. He also worked with the students on topophobia by theatre activities. He furthermore elaborated on mind mapping and personality analysis.

Prof. Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu appreciated the efforts of Dr Gaurav Sehgal, Placement Convenor & Head Marketing and Supply Chain Management along with Dr. Naresh Sharma, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Marketing and Supply Chain Management for organising the workshop and highlighted upon the importance of such types of workshops and added that such workshops sharpen the skill set of the students and make them industry ready. The 3-Days event was coordinated by Dr. Gowhar Rasool from HRM & OB, Dr. Bharti Gupta from Travel & Tourism Management and Dr. Salil Seth from SCM.
